• Westwood titled the Spring 1996 collection Les Femmes ne Connaissent pas toute leur Coquetterie a reference to seventeenth century writer de La Rochefoucauld's phrase "Les femmes ne connaissent pas toute leur coquetterie" (women don't know the full extent of their coquettishness).
